Join us on a special Birding Bus Tour with Ornithologist and COD Professor, Kurt Leuschner. This is a great opportunity for beginner and advanced birders alike. We will be visiting some of the Coachella Valley’s birding hot spots and Kurt will be giving instruction on birding techniques along the way. Discover these great birding areas while supporting the National Monument and Friends of the Desert Mountains!

Meet at: McDonald’s on the corner of Ramon and Varner, North side of the I-10 freeway.
Registration begins at 7:00 am; bus leaves promptly at 7:30 am and returns at approximately 4:00 pm.
Fee: $50.00 includes luxury bus ride and snack. Please bring a lunch and plenty of water; this is a full day program and you will NOT be going to locations where food and drinks can be purchased.
